STATEMENT

A time when objects were sacralized, oppression governed and family encounters took place in small spaces signed by silence.

The family was hiding an episode that was about to annoy her. She sensed the uncomfortable environment besieging the table. She reacted by taking a plate and throwing it to the ground with intention.

Make noise, break the silence in silence.

Her mother died on May 5TH. That date was immortalized in an unimportant object: a taco calendar that highlighted the passage of time. The years passed, however that calendar remained detained in time.

Point out objects, silent witnesses of existence.

Her life went by in small apartments, redoubts that abound in the city of Buenos Aires. The need for one's own space was imperative. The way to generate it was to accumulate objects and determine the territory.

Build space, set up emptiness.
