"Just before its demolition, a building can live a brief period of unexpected vitality. That is what “Becoming and going” is about, the site specific installation the RAW (CRUDA) group carries out where once was a building through which dozens of people circulated daily. Like Scheherazade - every time she begins one of her thousand and one stories, postponing the promise of her death - with this installation, the artists of RAW, Silvia Brewda, Rut Rubinson, Rita Simoni and Ariela Naftal, wonder about the possibility of giving substance to the present: an attempt of materialization by intervening the "natural" cycle of contemporary construction. With the language of demolition as a visual strategy and the proposal of restoration of a useless time, the installation will function as the eye of the storm of a series of varied artistic activities..."
